In joining this family I'm gonna need your help to find more family members!
You're not obligated to help, but if you do -from this point on because I haven't been paying attention- I'll give the person that helped recruit a new member something art-related. And it can be annnything cause thats how I role. ;D

Before even considering joining the family you must know...
When joining the family you have made a commitment to speak to everyone in the family at least once every two months. This is so we stay united, together and so our bonds are strong & so no drama occurs. IF any drama occurs PLEASE inform me and I will take it upon myself to handle the situation. I want lots of love, Even though there will be villains its just an icon you don't have to be a dick every where you go.
In joining the family you are not obligated to participate in group activities or events but it is strongly encouraged.
Know that hate, or any kind of bulling will NOT be tolerated. I will NOT tolerate that.
The procedure is basically this; I will first try to understand both sides of the story and from that decide a verdict.
If a person calls you an ass, Im not going to report them or kick them out of the family. Just think a little. I believe that everyone in the family should mature enough to be playful but not hurtful. If your maturity is like that of a 13 year old who has no friends and must hate people on the Internet to make themselves feel good about themselves, this family is not for you. And I suggest you look elsewhere for your chuckles. May I suggest 4CHAN?
Though I personally do not mind spam, others in the family may share a different opinion so if you just met I would recommend asking them if its okay to spam them with your trolling comments so you avoid drama.
I loathe drama. If you are the cause of drama to my lovely family I will grow to strongly dislike you and that may result in you being removed from the family.
If you are removed from the family you can never come back unless I formally invite you back.
Family is not replaceable but if you were so disgustingly horrible that I had to kick you out in the first place you shouldn't have joined a family.
ONTO SOME QUESTIONS!
CAN I BE [insert characters name that is from the list here]?
You can be any character that is not already taken.
You can not be a copy/clone/duplicate of an already made icon.
You can not be present/future/alternate version of a character that has already been taken/made.
Will you include the icon you made for me on your page? &What kind of events will you have? (When its a marvel character.)
Okay so here's the thing, this is a DC family. I will not include you in my DC family if you want to be Magneto or Spiderman. I will however be creating a few free(meaning anyone can use it) icons before "The Avengers" movie hits theatres. This is only one of many "Icon events" I will be having that is marvel related. Don't get me wrong, I love DC with all my nerdy heart, but sometimes marvel deserves some recognition. (even though most of the time their stories and art are satisfactory.)
I when I feel comfortable enough to have another free icon event I will be posting another entry in my journal.
What's the difference between and official family member and an unofficial member?
The difference is simple, secrecy and teamwork. I plan to have very large group projects that will require the assistance of everyone in the official family. The official family is like a DC mafia everything stays inside the family until we want things to be known. This meaning that unofficial members will not know of any specific information about events or projects until the official family wants everyone to know about it.
Can I request and icon?
Honestly, I'll try my best at meeting all requests but if it's something too complicated I won't do it.
Of course I'd ask you to simplify it but just keep it in mind when requesting icons.
Also from this point on I will NOT be creating icons based off of real people due to the fact that I want the user to be happy and if I don't get the person exactly right other people won't understand it. Unless you can provide both an image of the person as a cartoon character and a photograph of the person in the same outfit.

This is a way to make new friends by linking our pages together and sharing our art and interests! ..and you can get free stuff. And know when you can get free stuff.

You may on the other hand suggest that characters name to me and if all the characters are not already created I may swap out a character for the one you suggested. Hint hint..
CAN I BE A VILLAIN?
No. This is heros only.
So here's the thing. I want the Hero's version to be completed first. So before I even think about choosing which villains to make we have to have all 52 hero icons in use. Then after that is done I have decided that before I start making them, there will be a list of 52 villains to which 52 users names will fill. I will not create Villain icons until every icon is assigned. The list for Villains will not go up until we have all 52 Heros.
Im really easy going so if you are on the Heros side you can switch to a villain character that is not taken, the only thing you'd have to do if find a replacement to fill your spot as a hero. <:
And INFORM ME. If you just go and change to a Villain I'll be freaking out.

What program(s) do you use for the drawings/gifs?
I use paint tool sai for the drawing and colouring portion of it, then transfer it over to my mac and use gimp to animate.
I don't like that version of [INSERT CHARACTERS NAME HERE] in your icons! You should change it!
I'm really sorry if you don't like the way a character looks. I'm new to comics and just choose the version I liked best or have read and enjoyed reading about. I won't be changing anyone after they have been created unless I truly feel they should be changed or they're is something I have a huge problem with.
How do you decided on which character to do more than blink?
Unless I fell like your character is missing something, or the eyes are not visible I just do it depending on how I feel.
